A baby bonobo kisses its mother at Jacksonville Zoo in Florida. British plumber, Graham McGeorge spent three months documenting the female dominated world of these charismatic apes. He says his pictures of kissing and cuddling bonobos show the apes are so in love with each other that the normal primate behaviour of grooming hair has been taken to the extreme - the mothers who rule their society have plucked the hair from their babies.
